The Main Thread. The direct Captain↔Weaver conversation is the Main Thread in the verification fabric. It must be preserved as rigorously as CPU architecture prevents non-blocking processes from corrupting the main execution path. Subagents are the single strongest weapon against context compaction (Category Three). RT L3 dispatched 11 agents in 2 batches; total main-thread cost was ~20k tokens (10% of absolute max) vs. what would have been 100%+ inline. All crew work — including subagentic instances of Weaver itself — must be dispatched as subagents whenever possible. The Main Thread carries only: Captain directives, Weaver synthesis, decision recording, and integration governance. Everything else is delegated off-thread.
