PostHog traffic audit: 1.4k is noise. Weaver’s assessment: PostHog is consent-gated, so all client-side data undercounts. The Vercel 1.4k/24hr figure on a private repo with no promotion is almost certainly bots and crawlers. PostHog can confirm via session recordings and autocapture ratios, but engineering time on traffic monitoring is not warranted until the repo goes public and the HN post goes live. At that point, the session_started funnel (homepage to arena to bout) becomes the real interest signal.
