Captain’s key point: after ~600 commits that “might read more like someone having a mental breakdown than learning to agentic engineer,” it is IMPERATIVE to prove the capacity for discipline. Portfolio purpose (from docs/internal/main-thread/2026-02-24-001-weave-calibration.md): “I intend for this to be a portfolio piece demonstrating discipline, judgement, grit, graft, honesty, maturity.” Optimising for that demonstration requires slowing down precisely when the system wants to speed up.
