[pitnet-blockchain-theatre] Operator’s assessment: pitnet/EAS attestation is blockchain theatre. Evaluated against git commit chain for provenance. Git provides: cryptographic hashes, linked chain, timestamps (GitHub server-side), effective immutability (SO against force push), public verifiability. EAS adds only trustless timestamping — not needed for this use case. Operator: “I am increasingly of the opinion it IS blockchain theatre. Through and through.” pitnet stays aboard (no action to remove) but assessment is on record. Not thrown overboard — assessed honestly.
