[so-perm-001-retired] SO-PERM-001 (chmod 444) retired. Operator: “kill it.” Weaver assessment: the gate added ~30 seconds friction per file edit and caught nothing. The failure mode it guarded against (accidental agent overwrites) is already covered by: (1) Edit tool’s read-before-write gate, (2) git history immutability (SD-266), (3) PR review. 18 files unlocked. SO-PERM-001 removed from AGENTS.md. Lexicon bump procedure simplified (no unlock/re-lock). SO-PERM-002 (read lexicon on load) unaffected. SD-124 (original order) remains in the chain as historical record per SD-266.
